Every door is another passage, another boundary we have to go beyond. ~ Rumi
An Experience we shall always remember, or an experience, which alas, we shall never forget. ~Julius Gorden
Those two quotes sum up my philosophy on living and then birthed the title of this blog. I’m a writer, teacher, wife, and mom who will sail around the world with my family on Semester at Sea. You’re invited to join me on this voyage!
We would like to ride our bikes to the paulina water falls/slides, would you be willing to help us out and let us know what trail we would start on? I am guessing it is in the McKay campground trail. Thank you! anakha@awakeatworkinstitute.com
I honestly don’t remember – it’s been 4 years! But McKay sounds familiar. Good luck!

Thank you for your reply Jennifer =) Hope you will join us and share your travel story.
I am interested in doing the paulina plunge with my family, without going I. A guided trip. Can this be done without needing a second car to get back up to the trailhead? Could you make a loop back to the car without a rediculously long climb at the end?
You’d probably need a second car or someone in your party would need to peel off early, go back to the trailhead to get your vehicle and drive to the end for pick up. That’s how we did it.
I’m looking forward to hearing about your travels. Can you email me approximate directions to find the Paulina Lake Plunge?
I would appreciate it… kathy@camasdesign.com
